Does the Australia eSIM work in the Outback and rural areas?
Telstra has the best rural coverage in Australia, but very remote areas of the Outback (such as parts of the Nullarbor or interior Queensland) have no mobile coverage at all.
Does the eSIM work on the Great Ocean Road?
Yes. Coverage along the Great Ocean Road is generally good, with some gaps in the more remote stretches between towns.
Can I use the eSIM in Tasmania?
Yes. Tasmania is covered under the Australia plan. Urban areas have strong 4G coverage, while the wilderness areas in the southwest have limited signal.
Does the eSIM work in New Zealand?
No. New Zealand is a separate country and requires its own eSIM plan.
Can I use the Australia eSIM for streaming during a long flight that has a stopover?
The eSIM only works when connected to Australian networks, so it will not work in the air or in other countries during a stopover.
